Hi,
On one of our clusters the "Epilog" setup in slurm.conf,
(Epilog=/etc/slurm/slurm.epilog.local) call's the following to run the tmpwatch
utility with a tiny access time on /tmp. I think tmpwatch can be run on
specified paths and not just /tmp.

I don't know if slurm can do that natively. python-hostlist,
https://www.nsc.liu.se/~kent/python-hostlist/, may provide the functionality
you need. I have used it in the past to generate a list of hosts that can be
looped over.

I suppose that I can do it using a shell script iterator and a cron job, but
that seems like an ugly hack. I was hoping if there is a way to config this in

Could you do something like create a daily reservation for 8 hours that starts
at 9am, or whatever times work for you like the following untested command:
scontrol create reservation starttime=09:00:00 duration=8:00:00 nodecnt=1
