Hi all,
I have a program (for example x.x). When I run it as "x.x -I input -o
output", I will get an "output" file, as well as output and error files from
slurm. However,
all the content of slurm output file is in the "output" file (and there are
some extra content), so it is a waste to print
I have just rebuilt all my nodes and I see
Only 1 & 2 seem available?
While 3~6 are not

[root@node3 log]# tail slurmd.log

Thanks
I have not yet been able to get logging to work on the nodes its always a zero
length file.
However while I'd fixed slurm.conf on the nodes I'd missed the controller and
had to rebuild a node so now I have 4 nodes as expected.
Thanks

Is your slurm.conf identical on all nodes?

Tail -f on the slurm controller logs
Log into a computer node and tail -f on slurmd log as the slurmd log is
started
Or start slurmd in the foreground and set debug flag

Hi,
I did that,
[root@vuwunicoslurmd1 slurm]# sinfo
PARTITION AVAIL TIMELIMIT NODES STATE NODELIST
debug* up infinite 0n/a
[root@vuwunicoslurmd1 slurm]#
I am assuming the controller should see the compute nodes as well?

What tests can I do to prove that slurm is talking to the nodes pls?
