I don't see any activity on CVS in the past 16 months, and I'd really like
stable support for vertical splitting. Is there anyone working on this?

ht, and "resize -h +y" to increase a window's height, where
'x' and 'y' are the number of characters by which you want to increase or
decrease the width and height, respectively.

What bug is that? I know there's an issue with certain programs (namely man
and elinks) outputting text that overflows onto other windows when vertical
splitting is used. Is that the bug you're referring to?
