Hello, This problem is not documented but it should be. The Gemplus people wrote in their driver that you had to export the variables COM1, COM2 So in your case: export COM1=/dev/ttyS0 should do the trick. The new ifdhandler spec should also take care of this. Instead of using those 0x0
