I found a BIG bug in pcsclite today that would have very minute and
disguisable problems. I found it while testing the new Towitoko driver.
The library was sizeable enough that it actually made effects show.
On line 134 in readerfactory.c:

Make sure that the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is configured correctly in /etc/ld.so.conf.
Otherwise the compiler can not find this lib.
Is is located in /usr/local/pcsc/lib...
Add this path to "ld.so.conf" and run "ldconfig"... Then everything should work.

I have installed PCSC-Lite 0.5.5. I have run the test program with a
Towitoko
reader and a Bull Odyssey card. It was successfull.
I have installed jdk1.2.2 and OpenCard. When I try to install
OCFPCSC1-0.0.1.,
