Hmm... As far as I know there isn't any saving of old passwords and
prevention of
FWIW, these may be 2 suggestions to improve the user-friendliness of that

I get an email (see below), follow that link and dutifully make a new password

All I get is "Error: Missing Parameters" (3 times in a row)... (the username is
