By contrast, when you do a commit, Ah! That is a very convincing explanation. In any event, let's wait for the GNU sysadmins. I don't advise waiting for them. They are busy. This kind of complicated mail problem will be low priority for them. You have analyzed the problem. Now let'

Follow-up Comment #26, sr #106478 (project administration): I think I am beginning to realize why you can post directly but notifications are not delivered. When you post to a GNU mailing list (or to me personally, it doesn't matter), the message is picked by fw-pool-128.gruppocredit.it (your IS

Hi, I have submitted a project (Spark) for approval by the Savannah on 12th August. It was expected to be complete by 22nd Aug. So far the task has shown no progress. I think Savannah is short on 'Project Approvers'. But still, I just wanted to know if my submission will make progress any time soo

Follow-up Comment #25, sr #106478 (project administration): Your mail server rejects bounces, i.e. it cannot handle mail from the null envelope sender address. Look how there is no problem here: $ telnet mx.pittle.org 25 Trying 65.254.254.50... Connected to mx.pittle.org. Escape character is '^

Follow-up Comment #23, sr #106478 (project administration): First -- no need to send anything to sysadmin, Sylvain already did that yesterday with CC to you. Second -- the link Sylvain gave in comment #17 is pretty descriptive. Before accepting the message, lists.gnu.org does this SMTP callback

Follow-up Comment #22, sr #106478 (project administration): Could you please explain "SMTP callback"? I might be able to make some changes in server side, in case something is wrong with my configuration... Which e-mail address, SMTP server, is used as sender when I commit into www, or is this d

Follow-up Comment #21, sr #106478 (project administration): No clues; perhaps this SMTP callback is performed only under certain conditions -- for example, for messages coming from cvs.savannah.gnu.org. The sysadmins will tell. Meanwhile, this is a legitimate way to perform sender verification.

Follow-up Comment #12, sr #106481 (project administration): I guess Sylvain was right: I shouldn't have used "-admin" keyword in list name, but also MailMan should have warn me for that. Anway, new mailing list will work with no issues. Thanks for your support! __
