Sorry, I left something out. At the moment, at least, when I try to
commit changes to the web pages I get:
subversions.gnu.org: Connection refused
cvs [commit aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

gnudist has been unreachable for a couple of weeks now, and the
sv_sync_www script has not been able to do its job. I would like to
