I am using the winddows platform (namely win 2000

this might explain why it isn't readable.

I reported the spam we got on cvs-hackers to the UK authorities
(simply because I picked it up first). They tell me that they liase
with the relevant US people (or other national forces) if and when
necessary.
They should get back to me in a while to let me know how it's going.
