still there is something missing, i guess in the backend there needs to be a special way in how to get the data from USB. When i fire up wireshark in Linux i dont see any communication between scanner and host when the button is pressed. When i watch it under XP i see that every second a packet

Lacking of a scanbuttond group i post it here. Got a Canon FB636 which is working good in libsane but without buttons it doesnt make much sense as a network scanner. In scanbuttond it doesnt seem to be supported, when i start scanbuttond -f it will recognize the scanner but if i press any button,
