I compiled Sane 1.09 on my Linux Red Hat 8.0 live machine and
it worked perfectly with my CanoScan N656U scanner.
I didn't expect it to be so easy, especially on a platform that
doesn't get a whole lot of attention sometimes.
Thank you SANE developers!

I compiled Sane 1.09 on my Linux PPC (YDL) machine and
it worked perfectly with my old Relisys Scorpio scanner.
I didn't expect it to be so easy, especially on a platform that
doesn't get a whole lot of attention sometimes.
Thank you SANE developers!
