This may be as much a problem with USB (which I hate with a passion
under Windows as well) but it means I can't get sane working with my
scanner so maybe people here can help.
I have an Epson V700 scanner and I'm running Slackware 11 with a
2.6.18.1 kernel. I also have an HP 7310 OfficeJet all-in
