Color slides were working right, while negative films weren't.
Basically it seems that '--negative' option was always inactive. Today I
made new tests: if i run scanimage using --negative=yes option then I get

i just wanted to let you know that i finally got the coolscan V working
with Sane :-)) it took a while because the docu is quite twisted to
understand.
I still don't have a patch to provide, because i hardcoded some parameter,
but will get in touch with Andras to get something usable
