Hello everybody, i found this drivers http://www.elcot.in/linuxdrivers_download.php for the HP ScanJet 2400. I tested them under ubuntu 8.10 and they work very well ! Can you add them to the Sane project? this scanner model is very popular (try to search in ubuntu forum!). Regards Francesco Del

Patience is not one of my virtues, so needing a scanner yesterday meant that I'd be willing to try anything. I even tried the Scanport on Windose and, yeah, it sort of worked, but not very well. I went ahead and traded up to the HP thinking that at least I might have a little better chance of get

The saga continues. I traded in the Scanport 3000 for an HP 2300C - which isn't supported either, but the 2200C is and I thought that maybe just a little code tweaking could get the 2300C to work. What needs to be done to the drivers to get a 2300C to work? TIA -- Ira Childress
