I'm trying to make this scan with the lamp OFF. I've tried a kludge or
two in the code of the pxscan driver, but without success.
Anyone got any useful info please.

I've not seen this obvious question come up recently...
Is it possible to conceive of solving the general scanner problem by
going down a route like ndiswrapper used by the wireless-device people
(or would one perhaps end up emulating too many ntoskernel functions...)

Haven't seen any posts on this for some time - (since January 2006 I think).
Anyone making any progress eg with either the ASIC or the CCD side?
