But the fact that one other guy reported the same problem on
64bit Linux running on a ThinkPad makes me think twice before
going for an
Hi
Is there any hope for us with 64bit platforms on ThinkPads?
Are there any scanners that are know to be working
in this configuration?
Thanks,

Hi guys,
Here are the logs for the 32 bits system
that works fine (to compare with 64 bits that fails)
And btw could it be a hardware issue of Thinkpad USB?
$ scanimage -L
device `gt68xx:libusb:002:003' is a Mustek ScanExpress 1200 UB Plus
flatbed scanner
$ SANE_DEBUG_GT68XX=255 scanimage --devi
Hi guys,
I have Mustek 1200 UB Plus working perfectly fine
on Gentoo 32 bit on a no-name laptop.
Exactly the same scanner refuses to work on Gentoo
amd64 on Thinkpad X201i.
Both configurations are using vanilla kernels.
Would someone be so kind to take a look at the logs
here: http://pastebin.com
