I want to write a SANE USB scanner driver.
Is there any documentation available for writing a USB scanner driver in
sane for Linux. How does it communicate with the Linux USB system and what
are the calls used.

Does this mean that we may never be able to use Microtek USB scanners like
4800 with sane and have to go surrender to Gates and his windows for
scanning. Personally I am really disappointed
