Hi Ken,
works for me. Okay, I don't do heavy scanning, but scanning a couple of page
didn't resolve any problems or delay. If I recall corectly, you install
sane-backends on rasperry pi and edit also saned.conf to name the clients that
can connect to the scan server. On the client machine you ne

Dear all,
the last days I experienced again some severe problems with Umax Astra 2200 SU
link to USB. I tried to scan 4 pictures, 10x15. I did a pre-scan first,
adjusted the scan area to the first picture and scanned successfully. After
selecting the scan area for the second picture and scanning

Hi all,
I have a multiple boot system, one is based on SUSE kernel 2.4.19, the another
is a gentoo 2.4.20 kernel. On both systems I use sane-backends-1.0.12 to a
Astra Umax 2200 SU via USB and libusb-0.1.7. On the SuSE-system the scanner is
identified correctly by sane-find-scanner and scanimag

Hi all,
I have an Umax Astra 2200 SU linked to the USB port. Xsane version is 0.90,
sane-backend is 1.0.11. When sizing the scan area manually scanning is no
problem. But when setting the scan area via the selections on the preview
window the scanning starts, receives RGB data. The progress bar

Hi all,
I have a problem with my Umax Astra 2200 SU (it has both connectors, SCSI and
USB). SCSI and USB works fine with Win98 (i.e., hardware is okay), SCSI works
also under Linux (for various reasons I am thinking of switching to USB). When
attached to USB, scanner is detected by xscanimage o
