Hi,
my scanner avision backend (HP 5300C usb scanner) works quite fine under my
32 bit system while scanimage results in a segmentation fault under my 64
bit system. Anyone knows anything about this problem?

I tried a patch which was mentioned in another thread here, but that patch
won't compile. I am happy for any solution to get this working.
