There seems to be a disconnect on support status for the MF4010/MF4018.
These 3 seem to lack consensus:

Great! The next question is: was the USB PID in the mp730 code or the
imagec
Nicolas,
I told Bob to move the USB PID macro and device entry from pixma_imageclass.c
to pixma_mp730.c and see if that works.
He did that but then he wasn't able to see the scanner any more. Any ideas?

Got a couple more. 150dpi color from the bottom of the scan and 300 dpi b/w
along the left edge.
This enough to get you started?

Hi Bob,
I sent you a private email regarding this but apparently you didn't get it.
I wrote the Imageclass section and Allan is correct. Your all-in-one shares the
same Windows front-end stuff from Canon as mine. But beyond that, I have no
idea whether the base USB communications protocol is t
FYI, I managed to scrape together a spare machine for testing and the patch
works fine here.

e me a few days to rebuild my

My recollection of the USB spec is a bit hazy, but 64bit libusb behavior

I did a bit of detective work and dug up the USB ID's for the MF4010, MF4600
and MF6500.

Not yet. Everything is working fine right now, so I'll probably get to it
during some code cleanup.
