Hallo Maling list.
I am planning to buy scanner from subject, because I see that it has
`complete` support on Linux and also because I like these 5 one-touch
buttons, like "to-pdf", "email"
thus my question is: are these 5 keys also supported on linux?

Try this:
SANE_DEBUG_DLL=15 scanimage -L 2>dll.log
then look in that log file.
