after reading through the bug report

line to the SCSI section of /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane.rules, and
now my 3200 photo is working through firewire!

So I have looked at Michael's code and tested it with my scanner. Good news is
this works and is nice and neat (you have saved me a shitty job there Michael).
I think it is probably time we committed this to the SANE repository so we
should stop developing the version in Michaels patc

I have got an Ubuntu 10.10 and am quite new to it ; the idea is to get
me out of the Micro$ as soon as possible.
However I have got currently 2 issues that stop me from shutting down
Windows.
1 - Plextor ConvertX cannot be used yet
2 - Canon Canoscan 4400F does not seem to be supported y
