You need to change the IP in the configuration of your CUPS print queue,
HPLIP gets this info from there also for the non-printing functions.

Hi!
I'm using Epson RX700.
Both epson (cvs) and epkowa shows me, that i can scan only with
100,400,1600 and 3200 dpi.
But, according to epson's specs
(http://files.support.epson.com/htmldocs/rx700_/rx700_00rf/spec_3.htm),
i can scan from "50 to 6400 dpi (in 1 dpi increments)".

Hello all. I'm trying to use a HP Scanjet 7400C via USB and am
having problems.
1) Nasty-sounding shoe-shining during scans. Happens even at
resolutions/depths that you would think a USB 2 port can take (300
DPI colour, around 2.5 MB/s if I not mistaken).
2) Every few scans, the scanner will free

Stef,
I've finished testing the experimental code on my X1185 and it works

shading calculations during the scanner reads. This may be optimized. I
know there is a double buffer copy that I put in that can probably be
removed. S
are you asking us how to change the ip of the machine, or how to
change the ip that sane uses to find it? if the latter, then i guess
you need to read the docs for the backend you use to access the
scanner.

Hello,
As far as I can tell this is a FAQ, except that I've seen
the question pop up in many places (including, for example,
the Avasys forums), but without any answers.
I'm running Fedora Core 4, and have sane-backends 1.0.17-0 installed,
as well as iscan 2.8.0-1. My scanner is an Epson Perfecti
I had to change IP address in router. Now, sane cannot find
printer/scanner/fax (HP 7410). Have looked for 4 hours for location(s)
to change IP address in Sane. The 7410 prints OK, but Xsane can't find
printer. Investigation reveals it still has old IP address. Where
can I go to change it

If you want a look at the driver files, you can download them directly
