[sane-devel] scanner is not responding

Hi, I have a CanoScan N650U scanner. Xsane recognizes is and I selected it as the scanner to use. But when I try to scan I get an error message: xsane 0.991 "N650U/N656U:002" is not responding. Thanks for your help. Sandra
