I built sane-backends 0.18 under pkgsrc, which passes -j2 to make to run
two jobs at once (and -j4 on 2 cpu machines). It failed, and I include
the whole build log. The problem is running the ar to make a library
before sanei_access.o is built. But, I don't understand why this

I wish to scan a text so to have it in an editable text file.
How can I do that with sane and scanimage?
