I've an Epson 1000 ICS scanner/printer combo that wasn't detected by the
Epson backend. However, I added "usb 0x04b8 0x011a" to
/etc/sane.d/epson.conf and it works fairly well. The only issue so far

The Canon DR 1210C isn't in the list, so it may be unsupported. The HP
scanjet is labelled unsupported. Therefore both of them won't be a good
choice under Linux.
