Hello over there, I own a Acer Flatbed scanner (620 ST) which I use rarely. So I can not exactly tell you, when this error started to occur on my computer. Anyway. Right now the kernel version is linux-2.6.17-gentoo-r8. The system is based on gcc 4.1.1 and glibc-2.4 Sane is uptodate: sane-backend

Hi, Since the idProduct of the 4370 is 0x4105, can a back-end for the scanner this be added sane? Using xsane for scanning is much faster than using the HP tools, which I'm forced to use now on Windows. Thanks, Huub
