[sane-devel] Negs Scanning Pure Red

Hello, Using the Microtek Scanmaker5 to scan 110 negatives in the transparency bay. I've found the Konica negative VX 100 color profile to give the richest colors, but on a set of Kodak negs, suddenly they are scanning almost all red. I notice that black blacks seem to scan as pure red

Hello Everyone, I am using xsane 0.991 with sane backends 1.0.17, udev 090 and kernel 2.6.16.14 under Gentoo 2006.0. Scanner is Microtek ScanMaker 3840. When I run xsane as root, it works without any problems but when running under normal user account, xsane hangs to acquire preview or scan. Th
