I once built an RPM with a version of the Genesys backend for my HP 2300C a=
nd I must say, it has worked nearly every time I used it. I used it in col=
or and in B/W. It has worked both times very well. If anyone wants it, I =
can give them a read out of one scan.

my scanner avision backend (HP 5300C usb scanner) works quite fine under my
32 bit system while scanimage results in a segmentation fault under my 64
bit system. Anyone knows anything about this problem?
