Hi Emerson, I could imagine that it is number format problem in the interface between the backend (NIASH) and the SANE API (a guess) Could you please try the testtool (backend) on http://sourceforge.net/projects/hp3300backend and make a scan to clarify. Make sure that make, gcc and the libusb
