Hello Frank,

Hello Jim,
I did not get any feedback yet.
This in general means that there are no problems with xsane-0.91,
otherwise I already would have a hundret bug reports.

That's nice. You know that there are already a few of those (XSane,
xscanimage, xcam)?

I'm developping a frontend
I'd like to sacn the entiere surface of my scanner.
Which are the pairs of coordinate to use :
tl-x =0;
tl-y =0
br-x = ?
br-y = ?
Thanks

I'm developping a front end with GTK 1.2
with sane_get_parameters I always recieve SANE_FRAME_RGB (=1) format
otherwise i set the option mode = 0
I try with
sane_control_option(h,i,SANE_ACTION_SET_VALUE,&integer,&n)
where i = 1,integer = 0
Is there any solution or the scanner will always scan

IMHO that's a bug in the mail client. At least in mutt that function
is called reply-to-group (or reply-to-all).

tl-x and tl-y being 0 in the corner is a bad assumption because
although it's almost always the case, it doesn't have to be.
All four options should have a

Sounds good -- what are your goals? What can it do that xsane
etc. can't? Why not use GTK 2.x?

Some scanners don't support greyscale scanning. T
Hi,
Sorry..., you can use the "L" (lowercase is ok) to send to all.
bye,

If you use procmail and process list mail separately, you can easily
add a reply-to header yourself. Then all mail clients will behave as
you expect without the need to change how the list itself works.

Hi,
I've started a port of the sane backends to windows. It's rather limited right
now, but I can use one of my scsi scanner under the cygwin environment.
Infos and patch at my temporary site:

hm,
ok, this is something I can do with kmail easily enough. I had to read the man
pages on it last night.
here's to hoping. :)

Hi,
Does anyone have RPM specfiles for sane-{front,back}ends & xsane?
Is there interest in including them in the release source tar files if
I or someone else provides them (or better, a specfile generator)?
