Just a quick note to say that no guarantee can be
given as to when a new driver/backend will be
available!
I shouldn't be wrong in saying that everybody working
on those various projects are doing this in their
spare time...

Hi,
as you're using the 0.40version with SANE-backends 1.0.9, I expect a
version conflict! Use the latest module 0.42.
Simply unpack this one, recompile, reinstall and reload it, then the old =
one
will be removed automatically...
