Hi,
I'm investigating problems with OS/2 scsi-code and have 2 questions:
1. are all read commands 6 byte (08h) commands ?
2. how long is a block read from a scanner with the 08h command
min, max or fixed?
Bye

I've already noticed the topic, bu
Hello,
I have lately been using kernel 2.5.x on my computer. Because of several
reasons I like that better. But, I cannot seem to get the scanner to
work. It works fine with 2.4.x. It's a Epson Perfection 1260, and I have
tried both the Epson Kowa backend and the plustek backend (which both

I recently bought a Epson Perfection 1260 Photo.
But I don't have any clue how to install it under Linux.
Can someone please help me.
(I am using Red Hat Linux 8.0)
Thanks in advance.

Has anyone done any work toward getting sane-backends working under
windoze? Maybe by compiling under cygwin? Does cygwin even provide
direct access to SCSI, USB, or parallel port devices?
Maybe we're stuck with TWAIN and ISIS on that anti-platform?
Thanks!

Just to let you know - I'm using an HP6300C (scsi)...under 1.0.7 and
XSane 0.84, the flatbed worked fine but the XPA wouldn't light up.
Just updated to the latest versions of all SANE and XSane - the XPA
works fine now.
Thanks for all the good work!

Well, I've got the color correction stuff in there (to fix where the R, G &
B come in not next to eachother). And I've put a prototype SANE backend in.
It'll build
