Hi,
there are some known problems with the 5000E at the moment. First of=20
all, it doesn't like the calibration command. You can switch off the=20
option "Quality calibration" in your frontend, then you'll get a=20
little further. As far as I know the scanned image is distorted=20
nevertheless.
Hi list,
I can use the HP 5300C with the avision backend with a small problem.
When I use either scanimage or XSane, the image generated has a header
which shows the width off by one pixel. (i.e. the image width is one too
high).
The image looks a bit odd of course. I can fix it by hexeditting

Hi,
Code freeze for SANE 1.0.10 is active. That means that only fixes of
grave bugs that render a backend completely unusable or break
compilation and documentation updates are accepted.

Bye,

Hi all,
I have a problem with my Umax Astra 2200 SU (it has both connectors, SCSI and
USB). SCSI and USB works fine with Win98 (i.e., hardware is okay), SCSI works
also under Linux (for various reasons I am thinking of switching to USB). When
attached to USB, scanner is detected by xscanimage o

Hi,
when I compile (cvs-version) with gcc3.0.3 the executable fails with
SIGSEGV in sanei_debug.h line 157.
No problems when I compile with gcc 2.8.1
Is this a compiler-bug or could there be something wrong with the code?
I've made a screenshot of debugger-windows.
