Yes :-) [The code after '/* Set alternative setting */']
BTW: In sanei_usb_close() there are now two usb_clear_halt(). I don't
think they're needed. I get an error every time sanei_usb_close() is
called:

Howdy,
If I run scanimage three times in a row, I get three different results:

Hello,
I am trying to make my old SCSI scanner Leo S3 work.

found SCSI scanner 2LEO LEOScan-S3 1.10" at /dev/sg0

Hi,
I've just updated the list of unsupported scaners with some USB
scanners. If anyone has more information about those scanners or even
knows, that they are supported by some program or backend, please
contact me. The information is mostly from IRC.

Hi,
base on your suggestion I checked out the output in debug mode. The

Is that OK ? I do not have two devices.

Hi everyone,
I just started to use scanner with Linux. I have a HP
ScanJet 5100C connected to my RedHat 8.0 PC. When I
started xsane it gives error of "no device available".
The man page of sane-hp states that I need a ppscsi
driver. Where can I find such driver? The OS I use
is 2.4.18.
Thanks in a

Hello all,
I have my Canoscan 600 working under Debian 3.0, but only as a flatbed. I
understand that when the film adaptor unit is connected and the computer
booted, xsane should detect the film unit through the backend.
I had the same problem with this scanner under Mandrake 8.2, and yet the

I agree that the problem should be in the data transfer of initialization of
the transfer.
I think that I already comment out the double

I am using Kernel 2.4.19, what I did last night
was to try to download the driver from acard
atp870u.c and compile it.
The readme suggest to compile it not as module

I do not see the reason.
Anyway I compile as standard module and it behaves
like the original
I have a Nikon Coolscan 4000 ED with the SF-200(S) Slide Feeder. The
short version of my question is whether SANE or xsane know how to use the

I haven't been able to get it to work, but I see the coolscan2 backend
code has reference to a CS2_OPTION_LOAD and a description of "Load next

Good. Did you need to change sanei_usb, or was the problem with

A new version of "Image Scan! for Linux" will be release
Hi Henning, Peter and Thomas.
Many thanks for your help with this problem. It turned out that /dev/sg1 had
only root permission which was easily fixed as you suggested. The scanner now
works brilliantly through KDE. There is still the issue of access to X from
the command line, which is not fix
Hi
I replaced the fork() with a pthread (according the OS/2 example) and
now the plustek backend works (even with xscanimage) on MacOSX.
What should I use for the #ifdefs? 'HAVE_MACH_O_DYLD_H'?
