I am having a problem with an Epson Perfection 636 scanner (SCSI) and SANE
1.0.7. The OS is Debian GNU/Linux. The problem is that scans have what looks

I saw on the website there is support for nikon ax-110 and ax-210, but
nowhere the ax-1200 is mentionned. It's a big old scsi scanner and i would
want to know if it works like the other nikon scanners or not. Or if i can
throw it away.

I'm trying to get Sane going on Solaris 9.
I have an HP ScanJet 4p SCSI, and have modified sgen.conf
and enumerated the device.
However sane-find-scanner does not seem to search for the device.
