i try to connect to a server which is running sane, with no luck.
here are the output from scanimage -L with debugging 255:
[root@morten sane.d]# cat debug.log
[sanei_debug] Setting debug level of net to 255.
[net] sane_init: authorize = 0x8049240, version_code = 0xb56c

Dear All
I am a very experienced Windows user who is looking to go over to Linux and
this is the third time that I have installed a version of Suse, each time
learning a little and relapsing back to Windows.
My hope is that most of my hardware will work with Suse 7.2. At that stage I
will then

I am dealing with a scanner that seems to return some of its status
outside the SCSI sense byte area. sanei_scsi reports this information
via DBG but doesn't provide it to the sense handler. The data is in the
SCSI header, which is physically adjacent to and preceding the sense
bytes in sanei_scsi.
I can reproduce the problem
I rolled back to 1.0.3, upgraded to 1.0.5 and then upgraded to 1.0.7

Hi,
There is support for the HP2200c at various sites. The main place should
be the Plustek backend in the recent sane releases. Please look at that
backend.
Another possibility is to look at:

This is no surprise.

You have to enable the snapscan backend to make your scanner work. Please
make sure that your dll.conf also contains an entry "snapscan". If it still
doesn't work
OK, I will attempt to reproduce the problem tonight.

Greetings All, well, it seems that there is no support yet for HP Scanjet
2200c. The scanner uses a USB port and I have Suse 8.0.
I often need to use this scanner and it's quite inconvenient to log to Windows
just for the scanner. I tried "generic" configuration in Suse's Yast2 menu
but my atte
