Hi, Alain. Offhand I don't know what the problem is, although I think it's normally not necessary (and possibly undesirable) to put /usr/local/lib/sane into ld.so.conf (/usr/local/lib should be enough). Also, make sure you don't already have another copy of SANE installed, especially one which wa

Hello, For your update "SANE Supported Platforms". http://panda.mostang.com/sane/sane-support.html I have sane 1.05 and xsane 0.79 on Solaris 2.8 Sun Sparc Ultra 5 SCSI with gcc 2.95.3 installed. Device: Epson Perfection 1640SU. It works without any problems. Regards, __
