Hmmm the build failed. Something to do with LAPACK. I've put the log at
http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/dmharvey/failed/install.log
I don't have time to investigate carefully now, but if there's a
simple fix anyone can suggest, I can try that out.

Regarding the powerpc related mac problems, I can't just dump
those files in the local/lib/ directory of the SAGE install,since if
I do for other people they *will* mess up their SAGE installs (I was
told to include such files before by other people, did that for a while,
and it caused way mo
In fact, upon some perusal, there are other lib files needed for some
things. E.g. using plot(sin,0,10) creates a graphics primitive
somehow, but it won't let me show(plot(sin,0,10)) without
libfreetype6.dylib (apparently it gives a font related to creating an
