Hi,
Does anyone have the version of sage 6.9.ova? We need this version to
provide some samples of mathematical exercises to our student and they
have problems in the last version of the web (6.10).
If anyone have the 6.9.ova for virtual machine, please provide us with
link. It would be great.
We are trying to migrate to Jupiter, but while we can not solve some
problems we want to keep a stable version of Sage on our server. This
version will be available for downloading students and readers of our
scientific articles. We know that Sage is a free open-source mathematics

Hello,
My name is Francisco, I am a Sage user since more than 5 years. In the
latest versions of Sage (8.1, 8.0) in the graphical notebook (local
notebook server), I have found an error that affects the versions for
Ubuntu, MacOS and Windows. In a worksheet on top menu, in DATA section,

have shown in your article in the link, so I was aproximating many values
of the form [r/q] with $q$ prime to the conductor, until I figure out the
correct constant.

Hello,
I have been computing modular symbols for distinct curves on the Cremona
data base.
But, in a few curves, I recived a WARNING messages like this:
Warning : Could not normalize the modular symbols, maybe all further
results will be multiplied by -1, 2 or -2.

There seems to be a bug in the implementation of the coercion from
universal cyclotomic field. The rational part disappears when converting.
For example:
F.=CyclotomicField(4)
F(-1/2 + 1/2*E(4))
1/2*c^2
Reading the code:
from sage.rings.number_field.number_field import Cyclo
Hi. Is there a way to handle adeles and ideles in Sage? Or any suggestion

Hi,
I am running sage on a computer with multiple CPUs . I wonder if there is a
line command in sage to run a process on a specific CPU?
I am working on the notebook(). Is it the right way to doing this? Thank
you.

Hi,
I've defined a list of Sage functions. For instance,
-
def plus(a,b):
return a+b
def times(a,b):
return a*b

Now, I want to launch the simple server in such a way that these
functions are defined. I mean, executing

Thanks William,
It solved the problem!
