After all this process with some advice (I should say better some snarls) from
enthought-dev's people I finally succeed to build and test ETS-3.5.0.spkg,

Subject: RE: [sage-support] problems installing mayavi2/ets
Currently the sage build farm only has openSUSE 11.1 builds available.
However, openSUSE 11.2 came out almost a year ago and openSUSE 11.3
came out several months ago. With fixes now being implemented for
Sage 4.6, (see http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/9530), Sage
will build successfully
Just to tell you that I have been doing some googling and found I need two new
packages Enstaller and Enstaller.GUI, but I don't know where I can get the
sources in order to have a full ETS spkg, hope I can found it soon.
Best regards,
Jorge

ginac in sage.
A workaround that might also speed some things up is to define a
global numerical pi, e.g. "npi = RDF(pi)" and then use npi
everywhere.

You can use it over leaf (ie the numbers or the variables) or over
functions (by the fctfct parameter)
I like this function because we can use this same function for numerical
