Sorry, I'm afraid that I'm presenting to High School teachers that have
only recently started using technology in the classroom. They have only used
graphing calculators for a few years now and only just started using
smartboards. I will show them you link and everything Sage that I can fit

sage: save_session('sessionname')
and open it at a later time with
sage: load_session('sessionname')
None of the python functions I've created are restored and I have to
load them individually. I haven't been able to locate anything about
this in the t
Could it be possible to put this module under the main sage import? I think
it's very important to easily find the large support sage has, through
scipy, to do statistical analysis.
Until I read this I thought that Sage didn't have any support for statistics
at all. I looked for a mean and standar

The cd has both a web browser and a file browser.
It's not cli only at all. it uses fluxbox. Google fluxbox

Where do you have this problem? In text cell produced by TinyMCE? If
so, then it has nothing to do with your LaTeX installation - this is
formated by jsmath.

Installed Sage 4.2 from binary tarball
I have a working installation of the Texlive LaTeX distribution on my
system as provided by ubuntu .deb packages.
I think maybe sage binary installation does not use system fonts but

otherwise, the rest of the latex is formatted normally.
here is one of my latex expressions:

There are also quite a few notebook-related things taking up startup
time, which surely is unnecessary unless -notebook is on the command
line, or until the notebook() command is run?
I mostly do not use the notebook, and it looks from here as if I am
wasting 2s everytime I start up:

Hi Harald,
may you update in http://www.sagemath.org/download.html
the section that says *Sage LiveCD *to
http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/luciolastra/sagelwlcd/latest/
I mean, all Alfredos distros are outdated and mine has gone a long
time and now has Sage 4.2.
It just does make sense to me
Jorge,
may you show the link
http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/luciolastra/sagelwlcd/latest/
in the presentation for the sake of promotion?
Greetings,
Lucio
