Hi there,
i'm having yet another problem with plotting the Weierstrass-p-
Function. This time i'd like do create a contour plot of it. I did the
following:
sage: i=CDF.0
sage: tau=i
sage: Om=pari([1,tau])
sage: def f(a,b): return abs(Om.ellwp(a+b*i))
sage: T=contour_plot(f, (0.1,0.9), (0.1,0.9),

Hi,
Yes, I know that for lots of negative real numbers x^x is not defined,
but for some values of x, such as x=-1 or x=-1/3 there is a real
number answer and I don't see anything plotted. Why isn't anythng
plotted at those discrete set of values?

Presently, in sage, is there anyway to computer the torsion subgroup
of a curve over an arbitrary number field?
I'm pouring through the documentation, and I see how to do it for a
curve over the rationals. Is this not implemented for number fields?
Thanks,
Dan

Absolutely not. When you run Sage on the m
Of course it wasn't 8.10. I am running Ubuntu 8.04. My mistake. :-)

I thought this was fixed in the latest release. Until then, I guess,
you can install the spkg at http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/
robertwb/cython/
Download cython-0.9.6.14.p1.spkg and type "sage -i
cython-0.9.6.14.p1.spkg"
