I used a binary install. But anyway I somehow successfully install
everything by changing my filesystem then softlink executables to their
pre-requisite packages.
It re-built itslef for roughly half a day then the installation succeeded.

(in the latter case, installing external packages is far from perfect, and
would likely be a bug we need to fix)
