Are you absolutely certain that you are using gcc-4.6.2? I have seen
this problem with older versions of gcc but never with gcc-4.6.2.

There is a problem with inclusion of somewhere in the
cvxopt-1.1.3 package. Error:
gcc -fno-strict-aliasing -g -O2 -DNDEBUG -g -fwrapv -O3 -Wall -Wstrict-
prototypes -fPIC -I/root/Documents/sage
