Update: it seems to be the version of pari, not OS X. In more detail, I'm now seeing the same failure on a different OS X machine, and I think the problem is that homebrew upgraded from pari 2.15 to pari 2.17. I just tried `./configure --with-system-pari=no` and cypari built successfully. When I
