I finally tracked down the issue. Someone installed a "zulip_plugin"
(actually half a dozen copies thereof) on the Trac server without my
knowledge.
I think I understand what this is about--I know about the Zulip server
(although I have not used it myself). I keep forgetting who it is

Reboot complete. Unfortunately it does not appear to have resolved the problem.

please don't take my poste as a suggestion. I'm not close enough to the
subject that I really could do that. I just wanted to point out where the
confusion comes from (hoping you have I good Idea what we can do against
it).

so I always have to reload the page. Moreover, multiple copies of ticket
changes now appear on zulip. Seems something wrong with trac. Can you help
