Thank you. Good to know about the zlib. I'll just use the regular cygwin
for the build to simply my life since it seems to work okay. I'll try to
get the cygwin64 version working afterwards. I'll post updates on it as
(if) I make progress.

Beware that youll have several other issues later, especially with MPIR,
