Dear BFD experts,
just a simple question: which BFD RFC would be applicable for applying BFD over
an Ethernet link (no VLAN, no LAG)?
Direct over Ethernet, without IP.

I guess you are right and it is indeed mainly the technology ownership issue.
To the best of my recollection the BFD WG hss tried to cooperat
e BFD over a single physical Ethernet link, - something like a
dedicated "BFD-over-LAG protocol profile".
However, didn't investigate so far the overhead.
