As soon as I find a little time I will try to manually apply Apple's
extended attributes patches (that apply to the 2.6.3 version) to the
trunk rsync 3. I say manually as I already noticed some differences
that would make a patch impossible.

not completely - I'm not sure how UFS/ZFS auto ACL format conversion
works). It shouldn't be too hard to add support, especially as ZFS now
uses NFSv4 ACLs.

latest rsync3-svs on osx 10.4.8; looking to see what's evolved re:
acls & xattrs support on osx ...
@ build, i note complaint abt a missing yodl2man, which originates with YODL.
YODL, then requires icmake.
as neither is a

I spoke to Rusty Russell last November when he was visiting Dublin and
he mentioned there had been some thinking about an "rsync 3". One
feature being considered was allowing users to supply arbitrary rules
for what to do when a file is missing, based on file suffix etc. Did
anyone follow up these ideas?
